Gayan Ekanayake
Gayan, one of the founding member of Melbourne Sixers, led the club as the inaugural president for an exhilarating 6-year journey.
Through highs and lows, Gayan steered the club to victory, securing 10 championships. Under his guidance, the club flourished, attracting over 200 members competing in three prominent competitions in the vibrant South Eastern Suburbs.
Additionally, Gayan’s efforts opened doors for numerous social players, allowing them to embrace and partake in the sport they hold dear.
Gayan currently holds the title of the leading runs scorer for Melbourne Sixers. His impressive performances have played a crucial role in the club’s success and continue to inspire fellow teammates.
